Hero is the story of a criminal transforming
and evolving into a good person due to the
power of true love. Inspector Shrikant Mathur
imprisons Pasha, a nasty criminal. To assure
his release from the prison, Pasha hires a hit
man named Jackie and asks Jackie (Jackie
Shroff) to abduct Shrikant's daughter Radha
(Meenakshi Sheshadri) so that Jackie can
negotiate with the authorities for Pasha's
release. Jackie does so. However, he hides his
identity from Radha and she starts believing
that Jackie has saved her from a notorious
gang of dacoits. Radha and Jackie soon fall in
love with each other. Jackie gradually changes
and decides to take the path of righteousness.
